The Penguin with Red Cap (2025)
A magical story inspired by a true story about the most human of birds—penguins.
Once upon a time there was a world, frosty and pure. And once there was a story. A story of perseverance, love and hope. The Chinstrap penguin is different and yet the same as everyone else. He swims in the ocean, he fishes, he plays, he builds his nest, he dreams, he longs, he loves. But one day he discovers that other penguins can do something he can't. How will his journey to his dream end? Will he give up or keep going despite insurmountable obstacles? And what will nature say? Will the stars be on his side?
A puppet production on the border between fiction and reality, which maps a colony of penguins in a narrative and factual way and shows that the world is diverse and everyone should have their place in it.
Inspired by real penguins at the New York Zoo and the movie The Penguin Journey.

They wrote about us
Tvorcovia sa inšpirovali príbehom tučniakov z newyorskej zoo a francúzskym dokumentárnym filmom Putovanie tučniakov (2005). Spojením týchto inšpiračných zdrojov vznikla inscenácia, ktorá ukazuje, aká vie byť rodina v prírode rozmanitá.
