Marina. A story from the depths (2025)

Ten-year-old Marína loves the sea and the fascinating world beneath the surface. In her imagination, waves are not just water—it is emotions that create her world. When her parents decide to separate, the little girl embarks on a journey through the stormy waves of her childhood. She encounters sea creatures, her best friend Yulka, her beloved grandmother, and her pet Jerre, navigating through depths of silence and storms of anger, until she finally arrives on her own island—a place where she can stand on her own two feet.

The production is for children ages 7 and up and their parents. Through poetic imagery, lively music and the power of puppetry, it speaks of hope and the struggle to understand the adult world, of the desire to hold on to what we are losing, and of the strength that allows us to keep swimming. It offers a safe space for children to understand complex emotions and shows that even in a stormy sea of change, a calm harbour can be found.
